Our Story

DFW Prays is a part of the America Prays network. We are an inter-denominational, multi-ethnic, Jesus-centered prayer movement covering Dallas-Fort Worth, TX in 24/7 prayer.

America is in desperate need of revival and spiritual awakening. Our only hope is prayer. Unified prayer in the upper room preceded the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost (Acts 1:14). Will you join us in prayer? Will you stand in the gap for your community?

OUR VISION

Our vision is to unite and equip churches in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX in 24/7 prayer for transformation and spiritual awakening.

THE CALL

Our call is to devote ourselves to prayer for our communities and nation. The Early Church’s devotion to prayer brought them to a place of unity and common purpose. Acts 1:14, “These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer.”

THE IDEA

Every church in America regardless of their size, location, annual budget, worship style or theology can adopt a day or half day of prayer every month. A monthly day of prayer is not the end game, but it is a simple on-ramp that helps churches develop a culture of prayer.

COMMITMENT

Churches commit to adopt a monthly day of prayer or half day of prayer and cover those 12 to 24 hours in prayer. Recruit people to pray in 30-60 minute segments from home, work, school or at church. Churches pray the same day of the month (1st, 8th) or day of the week (3rd Wed).

Our Team

Lewis Hogan

Lewis Hogan is the President and Founder of United Cry, a ministry calling Pastors and Christian leaders to a movement of unified prayer that provides pastors and Christian leaders with resources to see spiritual awakening in America. Lewis has 25 years of pastoral experience and lives in the Dallas area with his wife Rachel. They have 3 children.

Niles Holsinger

Niles is the Pastor of Prayer and Prophetic at Gateway Church in Dallas, TX. Niles in the Dallas area with his wife Lindsay and their three children.

Norm Frederick

Norm and Lynn have been serving the body of Messiah for over 30 years as pastors, pioneers and passionate worshippers. They have been privileged to run alongside forerunners and friends in seeing the kingdom extended and established in nations and cultures. Their life calling is to see the Bride prepared and released in a lifestyle of prayer, rooted in a culture of honor as she helps to hasten His soon return.

Yale Kim

Yale is currently serving with Together 2018, a Jesus gathering that is estimated to draw 250,000 participants on Oct 20-21, 2018 at the Texas Motor Speedway as well as the Tent America 2018 gatherings occurring nationwide on September 27-29, 2018.

Ann Quest

Ann Quest is Founder of UnityQuest. She is former PAC Chair of Dallas Eagle Forum and member of America’s National Prayer Committee. Previously, she was the Texas State Coordinator for National Day of Prayer. She is a former president of Greater Dallas Prayer Ministry. She is involved with the Dallas Woman's Club and United in Purpose. A mother and grandmother, she is married to Bill.
