West Michigan Prays is a part of the America Prays network. We are a cross-denominational, multi-ethnic, Jesus-centered prayer movement covering West Michigan in 24/7 prayer. America is in desperate need of revival and transformation. Our only hope is prayer. Unified prayer in the upper room preceded the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost (Acts 1:14). Will you join us in prayer? Will you stand in the gap for our community?

Pray without ceasing. Transform West Michigan.

Our vision is to unite and equip churches in West Michigan in 24/7 prayer for transformation and spiritual awakening.

Our call is to devote ourselves to unceasing prayer for our communities and our nation. The Early Church was united in prayer, and a unified church is the most credible witness to the world that Jesus is Lord. “These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer.” —Acts 1:14

Every church in America regardless of their size, location, annual budget, worship style or theology can adopt a day or half day of prayer every month. A monthly day of prayer is not the end game, but it is a simple on-ramp that helps churches develop a culture of prayer.

Churches adopt a monthly day of prayer or half day of prayer and cover those 12-24 hours in prayer. Recruit people to pray in 30-60 minute segments from home, work, school or at church. Churches pray the same day of the month (the 1st, etc.) or day of the week (the 3rd Wed., etc,).

Our Team

Marcus Little

Marcus is a southern California native who spent 5 years as an MK with his parents in Romania. After returning to the States for college, he became involved in his local church youth group which confirmed his calling to ministry. That calling followed a winding road as he studied history for his undergrad and taught in a small Christian school for 10 years. During that time he married his wife Kelsey and they welcomed their first child, Calvin while completing a seminary degree at Talbot School of Theology. Following graduation and the birth of twin daughters Eva and Zoe, Marcus and Kelsey answered the call of God to pastor Berean Baptist Church in Grand Rapids and moved their family to West Michigan in March of 2014. Marcus' great passion is to see the church of Jesus Christ united to proclaim His kingdom in word and deed and is confident God is on the move in our region to do just that. When he's not engaged in pastoring he loves spending time with Kelsey and the kids, enjoying the outdoor life of West Michigan, grilling and following his favorite sports teams. While in baseball he retains his native allegiance to the Angels he has adopted the Lions as his NFL franchise despite the advice of Michiganders that it would only lead to heartache.
